18-Year-Old Shot to Death in Gang Fight From Times Staff Reports August 25, 2003 A fight between rival gangs Saturday night led to the shooting death of an 18-year-old, police said. Francisco Javier Martinez, of Anaheim, was shot in the upper torso and taken to UCI Medical Center, where he died Sunday morning. Police said the fight occurred about 10:15 p.m. in the 1100 block of North Onondaga Avenue. Investigators would not say what caused the fight. The investigation was continuing.
